You Bring Joy

These photos were taken of Emma at her 12th Birthday party.  I'm sure I'll do another layout highlighting the fun that she and her friends had bowling but this one just focuses on my Emma. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this girl. Her heart is pure gold and she has the biggest capacity to love.  She truly brings me joy and I need to strive to remember to tell her that.  Even when her room is a complete mess, even when I won't let her wear something that she wants to wear, even when she's being overly emotional and all puberty-ish (that's a word! LOL) .... She brings me joy and I love her!

Blue Eyes

When I saw that this kit by Red Ivy Designs was call "Blue Eyes"...I just knew I had to make a layout of our very own Miss Blue Eyes.  I really enjoyed working with this kit. It's beautiful and has a light, elegant feel to it.

Two fantastic kits released!

Two fantastic kits are being released today.  Let's start with Chaos Lounge. Jenni is releasing Memories and Dreams at Enchanted Studio Scraps. http://www.enchantedstudioscraps.com/xcart/product.php?productid=2867

Here's my layout featuring my wonderful husband, myself and the lyrics to the song, "Evergreen".

Sometimes love will bloom in the springtime

Then like flowers in summer it will grow
And then fade away in the winter
When the cold winds begin to blow

But when it’s evergreen, evergreen
It will last through the summer and winter too
When love is evergreen, evergreen
Like my love for you

So hold my hand and tell me
You’ll be mine through laughter or through tears
Then let the whole world see, our love will be
Evergreen through all the years

Secondly, I've recenlty joined the CT of KimB and her kits are such a pleasure to work with!  Here's her Sisterhood Bundle being released at DigiScrap Obsession. http://digital-scrapbooking.org/shop/sisterhood-bundle-p-3041.html?zenid=874fbc50803a9c1a31e8c07523a6ade5

Bee Happy

My happy Emma. I was using this photo for the I Heart Faces smile theme and decided to make a scrapbook page with it. I think this kit, Bee Happy, was a perfect choice to use with this cheerful pic!

Smiles

What a happy theme at I Heart Faces this week. Each photo has to have a face and a smile.

This photo is of my birthday girl. Today is Emma's 12th Birthday!  Look at that smile!

Pretty Maids All In A Row

My daughters and granddaughter...pretty maids all in a row.

I have to tell you... this page nearly killed my Photoshop. I had so MANY layers going that it just shut off. Every tiny flower was lovingly placed on this layout of my beautiful girls...making this one of my all time favorites!

Everything is from By Becca's Silver Bells and Cockleshells. Available here http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=4464&cat=0&page=1 at ScrapMatters.

Collage

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is "Collage".  I don't have much experience with making collages and it was harder than I thought it would be! I had a difficult time lining things up correctly. These are photos of my precious new granddaughter. Enjoy the cuteness!

Visit all I heart Faces at the link above to see all of the collage entries!

Sweet As Honey

I am loving this new layout made with Bee Happy by Scrappers Delight!  It's titled "Sweet as Honey" and our little Audrey is surely that!

Fix-it Friday-

I thought I wouldn't have time for fix-it Friday this week (I'm very busy spoiling my new granddaughter!) But then I saw that this weeks photo is from Debbie (50centlove) and she has always left me kind comments...so I really wanted to participate. Anyway, isn't her daughter a beautiful girl!?

Two of my girls.

Journaling reads: Chloebug, You are almost ten and turning into the most beautiful little young lady. You constantly amaze me with your quick wit and your quirky sense of humor! I can’t wait for summertime, so we will get to spend some more time with you!

I'm not usually good with bright colors but I ended up liking this layout. When I saw the "70's" feel of this kit, I thought a vintage 70's effect on the photos would look cool.
Journaling reads: My wonderful, complicated Emma. I know that it’s so hard being your age. You worry about friends and your social life, while I am busy worrying about your grades and attitude! Just know that I love you with all of my heart, even when we don’t see eye to eye!

First scrapbook page of Audrey

This is the first scrapbook page that I've made with an actual picture of Audrey (not an ultrasound pic). This photo captures the moment that Jessica, LJ and Audrey were together as a family.

****************************************
I love the photo on this layout titled Inspire. It's a picture of my son, Miles and my best friend, Stephanie. (She's also the mom of my step-kids!) Her love for our family, her willingness to really listen and her ability to always make me laugh...truly Inspire me!
Both LOs were created with Inspire by Red Ivy Designs at Scrappity Doo Dah. and Photo Masks vol. 3 by Red Ivy Design

Welcome to the world, Audrey Joan Workman!

My beautiful granddaughter was born at 6:57 pm. on April 6th, 2010. She weighed 10 pounds and 2 oz and was 22 inches long. She looks almost identical to her mom when she was born, only bigger!  Jessica, LJ and baby Audrey are all doing fine and should be coming home from the hospital tonight.

Time to post some pics!
Jessica in labor. I was so proud of her... she handled this ordeal with grace and toughness.

Jessica holding LJ's hand during a contraction. He's been very supportive. I was happy to hear that he stayed up with the baby all of the first night and let Jessica sleep!

Audrey right after she was born...

LJ holding his daughter for the first time!

My turn to hold my gorgeous grandbaby!
And the next day...

And finally, does someone look jealous in this picture???
